About Us

Employee Group Plans continued

The Association's Group Health program provides administrative ease to member Bottlers by providing the following:

•  Consolidated billing from all vendors
•  Electronic eligibility interfaces with all vendors
•  Advocacy and intervention on claim issues
•  Monthly consolidated financial reporting
•  Review and production of Summary Plan Descriptions
•  All contracts negotiated by the Association
•  5500 filing completed and submitted by the Association
•  Access to consultant services with issues such as legislative compliance, financial projections, and plan design alternatives, etc.

Bottlers with more than 100 employees are currently eligible for our
Separately Handled Program. This program allows an individual Bottler
to customize their own plan design and remain experience rated while
taking advantage of the Association's mass purchasing power and administrative ease. Our fully pooled program for Bottlers with less than
100 employees was disbanded in 2000 because of regulatory burdens
that became unmanageable. Should market conditions, including the
regulatory environment, favorably change thereby permitting our re-entry
into this market we will advise the membership. For more information
