Liability and Property Insurance – Since early 2003, CCBA has also
offered a comprehensive insurance program that covers the primary
lines of insurance commonly purchased by the bottling system. Our
current menu of insurance policy offerings includes:
• General Liability (including Products)
• Automobile Liability
• Automobile Physical Damage
• Workers' Compensation
• Excess Workers' Compensation
• Property, and
• Boiler and Machinery
Each of these insurance programs features flexible deductible and
retention levels along with comprehensive terms and conditions.
Coverage is available in primary layers, with limits of up to $5 million
per occurrence. Most of the coverage under that insurance program is reinsured through GAIL, with GAIL's profits on that program returned
to Bottler participants through renewal credits. In 2004, only the second
year of the program, Bottlers received credits in the 10-15% range.
