Insurance Programs
The Coca-Cola Bottlers'Association provides and administers a wide range of programs for the benefit of member bottlers, including insurance and employee benefit programs.
The Association's wholly-owned subsidiary, Georgia Atlantic Insurance Ltd. (GAIL), a Bermuda corporation, reinsures many of the liability risks of members of the Association. For many of CCBA's insurance programs, GAIL assumes a large portion of the financial risk, allowing insurers to offer Association members extremely competitive rates due to their reduced exposure. GAIL then generally captures all underwriting profits and investment income associated with its reinsurance activities and funnels those resources back to the bottling system in the form of renewal credits.
